Psalm 37 - Fret Not

Heavenly Father, I will not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness that which is not upright or in right standing with You. For they shall be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

I trust, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You Lord and do good; so shall I dwell in the land and feed on Your faithfulness, and truly I shall be fed.

I delight in You Lord. You shall give me the desires and secret petitions of my heart. I commit my way to you. I roll and repose each care of my load on You. I trust, lean on, and I am confident in You to bring it to pass. You will make my uprightness and right standing go forth as the light. My justice and rightness shall be as the shining sun of the noonday.

I am still and rest in You lord. I wait for You and patiently lean myself upon You. I will not fret for him who prospers in his way because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. I will cease from anger and forsake wrath. I will not fret. It tends only to evil doing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but I wait and hope and look for You Lord. In the end I shall inherit the earth.

For yet a little while and the evildoers shall be no more.Though I look with care where they used to be, they shall not be found.

I am meek. In the end I shall inherit the earth. I shall delight myself in the abundance of peace. The wicked plot against me because I am righteous. I am in right- standing with You Lord. They gnash at me with their teeth.

You laugh at the wicked for you see their own day of defeat is coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who walk uprightly (blameless in conduct and in conversation).

The swords of the wicked shall enter their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken. Better is the little the uncompromisingly righteous have than the abundance of possessions of many who are wrong and wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but You uphold the consistently righteous. You know the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever.

I shall not be put to shame in the time of evil and in the days of famine, I shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish and Your enemies shall be as the fat of lambs that is consumed in the smoke. They shall vanish. Like smoke they shall consume away. The wicked borrow and pay not again for they may be unable, but I am uncompromisingly righteous. I deal kindly and give for I am able. I am blessed by You Lord. I shall in the end inherit the earth but they are cursed by You. They shall be cut off.

I am a good woman. My steps are directed and established by You. You delight in my way and busy Yourself with my every step. Though I fall, I shall not be utterly cast down, for You grasp my hand in support and uphold me. I have never seen the uncomprosingly righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.

All day long I am merciful and deal graciously. I lend and my offspring are blessed. I depart from evil and do good. I will dwell forever securely. Lord, You delight in justice and for- sake not Your saints. I am preserved forever. The offspring of the wicked in time shall be cut off. I shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. I am consistently righteous. My mouth utters wisdom, and my tongue speaks of justice. I am uncompromisingly righteous.

Your law is in my heart. None of my steps shall slide. The wicked lie in wait for me because I am uncompromisingly righteous and seek to put me to death. Lord, You will not leave me in their hands or suffer them to condemn me when I am judged. I wait and expect you to keep - heed my way. You will exalt me to inherit the land. In the end when the wicked are cut off I shall see it.

Mark me Lord. I am blameless. Behold me Lord for I am upright. There is a happy end for me for I am of peace. As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. In the end, the wicked shall be cut off. My salvation is of You Lord. You are my refuge and secure Stronghold in the time of trouble. You help me and deliver me. You deliver me from the wicked and save me because I trust and take refuge in you.

In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen
