Of Vessels & Frugality

I've been thinking a lot lately about saving money and being frugally minded. I know that as a servant of God, I am called to do the best I can with what I'm given (not that I always do). However, I have been making subtle changes in the way I view and do things. As a gift to all of you, I am posting my "recipe" for "Wrinkle Eraser":

1 clean, empty spray bottle (about $1 at Family Dollar & Wal-Mart) 1 large bottle fabric softener of choice (if you have sensitive skin, there are free & clear choices available) water

Pour about half of a capful of fabric softener into the spray bottle. Fill almost to the top with distilled water (or tap water, which ever you choose). Put the top on and shake vigorously.

Spray and be happy! Just remember to shake the bottle before each use, as it may settle.

I am so thankful that when I get "wrinkled" and out of shape, Jesus gently and carefully smooths and straightens me, lovingly molding me into His image. He is never abrupt or uncaring, angrily pushing and pulling, but always employs kindness and compassion, while forming me into the vessel that He chooses. It is my solemn desire to be a vessel that brings honor and glory to my God and King, Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Merry Christmas! Spread the good news of the best Gift that could ever be given -- JESUS CHRIST!
