When you are weak, tired and feel like giving up on life. You look at every corner of the wall and it seems so dark and blurry. You might have trusted man but have been disappointed by their always failing promises. It seems like you have played your last card, now you have asked the Lord what is the next thing to do? You have questions lined up for Him to answer. The questions keep rolling on: How do I handle this? Where do I get help from? Where do I go from here? Why me? When God when? At the point of hopelessness, frustration and doubt, the Lord is asking you to lean on Him. The key to leaning on God is to trust God . Imagine a father carrying His little child who is so tired of walking and the journey ahead is still very long. The father does not mind the long, tiring journey rather all he cares about is ensuring that the little one is okay. Even though he feels the weight of the child, he can’t complain but to care and demonstrate his love for the child who clings to him for complete support. The little one trusts the father that he would not drop her on the floor when the pains and pressure gets overwhelming as she rests on his shoulders.
Have that picture of the little child in your mind for a moment, your Heavenly Father longs to carry you like the little one. My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me Psalm63:8 amp. Your whole being (spirit, body and soul) needs to cling to the Lord like a magnet connected to a magnetic object. Not worrying or trying to figure things out but permitting Him to take control. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He's the one who will keep you on track Proverbs 3:5-6 The Message. The Lord carries you as you cling to Him and rest on His shoulders along the long tiring journey. It does not matter how long it takes to get to your destination, He is more than able to see you through.
Lean on Him at all times even during the tough stormy days when it looks like there is no way out. He is the indestructible rock, the rock of ages past, He brings life to your dry bones, He is the pillar that holds your life and the author and finisher of your faith. Flow with Him and He will show you the unforced rhythm of grace for His yoke is easy
So I pray that you will learn to lean on Him at all times and if you need help ask Him, for He is right there whenever you need Him. I pray that He strengthens you and His right hand upholds you as your whole being follows hard after Him. May He gives you a sound mind, for perfect love casts out all fear in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
