I am thankful for everything that God has done for me (Phil 4:19).
I'm thankful for the little things that I often take for granted. I’m thankful for the major breakthroughs that I've experienced. When I look back, I'm even thankful for all the adversity I've faced and endured. He has certianly provided all my needs.
God has blessed me with a wonderful family (Ecc 4:9-10).
My family is supportive. We have gone through a lot together. They have gone through some of the most trying times with me. They also have celebrated my successes. They pick me up and brush me off when I've fallen down.
I'm so very thankful for my friends (Prov 17: 17).
While there have been some friendships that I've had to let go, the friends that I have now are amazing and awesome. I still have friends from my junior high, high school, college and grad school. Most of my friends go way back but even my recent friends have proven to be worth their weight in gold.
I'm also thankful for my past, present and future clients (Ps 90:17).
They have all taught me so much. Some have helped me to grow and others have forced me to grow. I have had to push myself to be a better person so that I can provide better service. I have learned to focus on what I can give more than what I can get. God has established the work of my hands.
I'm thankful that life isn't always a cake walk... (Jn 16:33)
...or a walk in the park because I'd probably get lazy while resting on my laurels. Jesus warned of the trouble in this world. I'm so glad that He overcame the world. At the same time, I'm thankful for the times when life is easy and everything flows. God allows me to experience His favor (sometimes even in the midst of the storm).
