Failure.

There are many times I feel like a failure.  A failure at being a mother.  A failure at being a wife.  A failure at being a homemaker.  A failure at being a Christian. But then I remember. I remember that I have a heavenly Father who loved me enough to send His son to die for me.

I remember that I have a loving church home.

I remember that I have 4 wonderful children.

I remember how blessed we are to have a beautiful place to call our home.

I remember Galatians 2:20.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

It so easy to think about all the ways we fail in life.  It’s easy to let it eat at us and make us depressed.  But we have to remember that we are not perfect – just saved by grace and remember that regardless of how we might feel like a failure – God sees us as someone worth loving and there is no way that can be considered a failure.

“My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” Psalms 73:26 (KJV)
