The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. Isaiah 9:2 It is impossible to celebrate the birth of Christ without light. He came to bring the light of eternal life to all mankind, and his birth was infused with light.
Light played a vital role throughout the Old Testament. God used a pillar of fire to guide the children of Israel in the wilderness. The seven branch menorah provided light for the priests to ministry in the Tabernacle. At Mt. Sinai God in all his glory appeared to the Israelites with fire.
Matthew 5:16 says, "In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
How bright is your candle burning? Find someone today that needs help, and let your light of goodness shine on them.
