Everyone and everything has something special about them. Everyone has their special abilities, but I believe as Christians, we have the greatest abilities.
They are called fruits of the Spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22)
You're like what? How are these special abilities? Hang on and I'll tell you.
Let's say you're at work one day and it's a Monday. You know how Monday's are, and you're feeling the blues because you're having an emotional hangover from an awesome weekend. Then your boss comes into your office and cusses you out, up and down, and he walks out. You're like, "What just happened?" I know this is somewhat extreme, but without the gifts, you would have trailed after that boss man down. You would have turned him around and told him how it was. Without the gifts, you would have been fired!
These gifts can save you money, your career, heartache, a marriage, your children, friends, and anything dear to your heart. Does Piggly Wiggly offer these fruits? No, unless the manager is a pastor, the only way you can get these is through prayer. You can pray with someone to find these also, I've learned there is power in numbers.
If you were to ask me for an analogy to go along with this, I would say a breathing flower. I know flowers don't have lungs, but they do breath. They breath out what we breath in, oxygen. Every time they breath, I believe it's like mist of febreeze flowing into the dust particles. Definitely roses, they smell so good and they are beautiful. When they breath out, and when you smell the living breath of God's creation, it's like you enter a world of refreshing sensation. That's suppose to be us, but how many of us have bad breath because of our tongue? Did you know an unclean tongue gives you bad breath? It's like the motor on a boat, it's the smallest part, but it's what sets your destiny. It will you lead to heaven, or take you to the hot place.
So today pray for the fruit's of the spirit. If you have bad breath, pray God will teach you self-control, and to send you some extreme mouth wash. It might not be that serious. It could be the lack of chewing gum, I don't know, but nobody likes bad breath. If you don't believe me, you should go test your theory on an innocent bystander, you will find out real quickly what I mean. GOD BLESS!
